PFK is the proud winner of the 2011 Technology Top 100 Award for Sustainability. This award is the ultimate measure where the entire organization and its management is evaluated as to its overall contribution within its chosen marketplace, and to the South African society as a whole.

Professor Roy Marcus, TT100 Chairman explains ‘PFK has demonstrated a holistic approach to managing their operations, and they represent a role model which all South African companies should strive for’. To win this award a company needs to demonstrate not only the ability to manage research, systems, technology, innovation and people but also its commitment to BBBEE, job creation and the environment.

Gary Stanton, MD PFK Electronics, stated ‘To receive this award is recognition of the giant strides we have made as an organization in recent years. Our success is largely based on having an inspiring vision and employing high calibre people who are able to contribute to our growth strategy in a sustainable manner. This award is even more pleasing as it comes straight off the back of receiving the KZN Exporter of the year award. This is our

25th year anniversary as a company and it has been our most successful in all respects’.

Colin Snyman, Sales and Marketing Director added ‘TT100 is a highly prestigious national award. We are competing against the best technology companies in South Africa so the benchmark is very high. This is a great way to end 2011 and proves we have a strong platform from which to forge ahead with our aggressive and sustainable growth strategy’.
